Professional PhotographerTutorials For Better Cameraphone Pictures

Becoming a professional photographer takes a lot of time and practice. There are many helpful resources that you can use to build your skill as a photographer. Even if you don't have a SLR camera, you can try to learn how to take photos using your mobile phone or smart phone before spending money on a technical camera.

Many people today take more pictures with their cameraphones then with point and shoot digital cameras. Digital photography tutorials designed with cameraphone users in mind can offer some helpful tips to improve your shots. Cell phone cameras are notoriously slow, which often results in blurred images.

Since this is caused by shutter lag, you should be sure to keep your cameraphone steady by resting your arm on a hard surface, or even use a portable tripod, and hold the cameraphone steady for a few seconds after you hear the shutter sound. To take better self-portraits, extend your arm up at a 45 degree angle for the most flattering images. Shooting from above will prevent double chin and shadow effects. Shoot outdoors or in a well-lit room for best results. Experimenting with flash settings can also help keep your shots from looking completely washed out.
